Social Anxiety Therapy Online in Georgia

When connection starts to feel like something you have to “get right”

Therapy for people whose social anxiety has quietly shaped their whole life — the invitations they've stopped accepting, the words they've held back, the self they've hidden to avoid being judged or found lacking.

Can you relate?

  • Your body reacts to social situations before your mind catches up — racing heart, nausea, tight chest — even when you logically know you're safe

  • Part of you is relieved when someone cancels plans while another part grieves it

  • Replaying conversations afterward and wondering if you said the wrong thing

  • You sense a part of you trying to protect you by keeping you small, quiet, or home — and you're ready to understand it instead of just fighting it

  • Overthinking what to say, how to say it, or whether you should say anything at all

  • Feeling self-conscious about how you come across

  • Worrying that others are judging you, misunderstanding you, or finding you lacking

  • Holding back your thoughts, opinions, humor, or personality

  • Feeling like you don't quite know how to “be” around other people

  • Comparing yourself to people who seem more confident, natural, or socially at ease

  • Trying to avoid embarrassment, rejection, or getting it wrong

From Staying Small to Being Yourself

We work together so you may…

Feel more comfortable being yourself

Trust yourself

Feel less judged or rejected

Worry less about what others think

Speak up and share what you think and feel

Feel more at ease in social situations

Feel connected when communicating with others

Take up space without feeling like you have to apologize for being yourself

Feel more free to live, connect, and show up as yourself

Through our work together, you don't change who you are:

You become more free to be who you are!

How We Work Together

The therapy I offer is deep and transformational.

Rather than merely building social skills, we work through the reasons why social situations feel hard for you. Using EMDR, I help you process and resolve the underlying, often subconscious beliefs and painful experiences that get in the way of the connections you're actually longing for. For some, this traces back to negative experiences like bullying or feeling isolated from others. For others, it's a belief that people don't really like them, or that something about them pushes people away. And for others, it's difficult trusting people enough to let them in.

We integrate a healthier perspective of yourself that allows genuine connection to come forward in a way that feels natural and unforced. We do this work so that you may feel more free to be yourself and have genuine connection with others.

“You are enough, exactly as you are.”

Therapy is a space for you, where your unique journey is honored.

As someone who had a reputation as the “quiet” kid growing up, I understand the tension between wanting to connect and wanting to stay quiet. My journey as therapist and human has led me to helping countless people feel more secure within themselves, more connected with others, and walk the path of self love.

My lived experiences deepen my empathy for your lived experiences. Along with using my specialized therapy skills, I seek to hold space for your own unique experiences, meeting you with curiosity and to understand your experiences.

You can be connected with others and stay true to you!
